[Album Review]: A Cosmic Trail - II: Mistral

A COSMIC TRAIL is an all instrumental Progressive Metal band from Germany, and you might as well add them to the long list of amazing bands from this country. This band is composed of instrumental musicians who have a sound that is ideal for takeoff, especially for those who like progressive rock / metal.

The beginning with "Calm" is disconcerting that can put all standing behind. A typical melody instrumental rock albums of those who were not going anywhere but they were quite common in the eighties, however, before they can cause aversion grow, "Mistral I" into action with an aggressive riff catches the listener off guard. The track is in essence all that the progressive metal fan expecting, going into seven minutes to a number of different passages, making it appear that spent more than twice as long.

“II: Mistral” is a very robust sounding album that takes your ears on a sonic journey you won’t soon forget. This record’s large sound is mainly due to the keyboards and bass. The bass creates a solid foundation while the keyboard acts as a support for the rest of the music to hang upon.  The guitar work is quite imaginative just like the rest of the instruments on this album. Each song is a different journey, which flows in such a way that time itself seems to lose all meaning. Virtuosity, sensitivity, power, addictive ambiance (It is ideal to listen to walking on a deserted beach, or in those moments of boredom in a public transport lol). This is one of those albums that perpetuate moments of pure peace. This album is a treasure Definitely one of the best works of rock / metal Instrumental of moment!
